Beat the Streets Bay Area hosts elementary wrestling leagues across the Bay Area, providing young athletes with free access to wrestling and meaningful opportunities to learn, compete, and grow in the sport. Through our South Bay Elementary Wrestling League in San Jose and Oakland Elementary Wrestling League, students participate in structured seasons designed to introduce them to wrestling in a supportive and engaging environment.

Throughout each season, student-athletes participate in weekly practices, league duals, and live match experiences that build foundational wrestling skills, teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence. For many participants, these leagues provide their first opportunity to step onto a wrestling mat and experience structured competition.

Each league culminates in competition that brings participating schools together and gives athletes an opportunity to showcase their progress. Through practices, competition, mentorship, and access to wrestling gear, Beat the Streets Bay Area’s elementary leagues help young athletes develop resilience, confidence, and a lasting connection to wrestling and their communities.
